Week 6

The dolphin completed now all i need to do is add its skin ....

To create my dolphin i copied the picture behind it to get the rough shape, i done this by using the extrude and editing the polys to create it. Then i had to get a line of symmetry to make both sides equal to do this i cut it in half in a straight line - looped the edges - make them all straight - scale it down - go to the modifer list - choose symmetry - choose y axis :) and done!!!

This is an image of dolphins from a museum..

i really lik this stamp that i came across because its mixing design with stamps, as it is a really well known chair and is much more intresting than the queens head :)

History Of Stamps...
  • Before the use of adhesive paper stamps, letters were hand stamped or postmarked with ink. Postmarks were the invention of Henry Bishop and were at first called 'Bishop mark' after the inventor. Bishop marks were first used in 1661 at the London General Post Office. They marked the day and month the letter was mailed.

  • Rowland Hill invented the adhesive postage stamp in 1837 first started to take a serious interest in postal reforms in 1835.
